After a very brief business meeting at 11:30 followed by lunch, your AFT Washington Retiree Chapter Executive Board is very pleased to provide a program that focuses on the 2016 elections featuring the following speakers:

  • State Senator Pramila Jayapal, the AFT Washington-endorsed candidate for Washington’s 7th Congressional District
     
  • Gerard Friesz, AFT Western Regional Director 
    Topic: Some thoughts and insights on the 2016 presidential campaign
     
  • Kristin Elia, AFT Washington's Political Organizer 
    Topic:  AFT Washington’s process for candidate and ballot endorsements and contributions
