Washington Educators in Early Learning (formerly CCWA of Washington/AFT) is a STARS-approved training organization. We provide continuing education training in the core competency areas of:

  • Professionalism
  • Child Growth, Development, and Learning
  • Curriculum Development
  • Environmental Design

Our trainers are experts in their fields and experienced in working with young and adult learners. Trainers are also selected from among the membership and staff of WEEL.

Our STARS ID number is 2539.

For your convenience, we can have the training at your center. For non-members, the cost is $10 per hour ($20 for a two-hour workshop). Although we are not able to accept vouchers, non-members are able to request reimbursement from STARS.

If you join WEEL within one week of your training, you can apply the training fee toward your annual membership -- reducing the cost!

To register or schedule a training at your center, contact WEEL at (206) 242-4777 ext. 8070 or email weel@aftwa.org.
