Washington State Early Care and Education Apprenticeship Program Available Now

The Washington State Early Care and Education Apprenticeship Program provides exciting opportunities for job advancement in the field of early learning. Approved by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, the program provides instruction in three areas:
  • Child Care Assistant/Associate I
    • Must be at least 16 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Child Care Coordinator/Associate II
    • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Educational Paraprofessional
    • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent

This program combines on-the-job training with class instruction to produce certified child care specialists and educational paraprofessionals.
