The financial training, covering per capita payments, affiliation, treasurer’s duties, and best practices is offered by AFT Washington bookkeeper and office manager Elizabeth Ferrell.
The membership data management training, covering member data reporting requirements, AFT’s member data management systems, and best practices is offered by AFT Washington data manager Christine Landon.
Both are 3-hour sessions taught consecutively, so that local treasurers, membership officers, and other local officers can choose to attend either or both. Financial training is 9AM-noon; Data training is 12:30-3:30 PM (lunch is provided between sessions).
