This training event on Saturday, April 7, is designed for the AFT Washington Executive Board and other leaders. Race and Labor is a program designed by the Washington State Labor Council and Bill Fletcher Jr. to address structural racism in our workplaces, unions, and communities.
The curriculum focuses on the history of structural racism, how Labor has directly contributed to this history, and the realities that currently exist in order to do the work needed to truly combat this system and make our unions and workplaces stronger. The training is interactive and discussion-based in order to provide space for real conversations.
